..the heart behind Etchworks.

In 2019, my life changed when I was diagnosed with cancer. After years of treatment and rebuilding, I continued to push forward. In early 2025 the cancer spread to my spine and after multiple spinal surgeries, I am now paralysed from the chest down. It has been the biggest challenge of my life, but giving up was never an option. My motivation has always been my whānau, my culture and creating a future with meaning for myself and my beautiful girls.

Etchworks was born from that determination.

What began as a way to stay creative and connected has grown into my full-time passion and livelihood. Every piece I create carries intention and meaning, honouring culture, identity and the stories that shape us. I take pride in crafting keepsakes that you and your whānau can treasure for generations.
